Minimum Experience: 5+ Years with At least five (5) years’ relevant experience, with demonstrated experience of having worked in a corporate wellness environment.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelors Degree in B. Degree in Industrial Psychology / Clinical Psychology or related qualification. Occupational health or nursing certifications will be considered an added advantage

  • Knowledge of Namibian Labour Law and relevant legislation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital dexterity.

Duties & Responsibilities


The principal accountabilities of this position are to:


  • Lead the development, review, and implementation of a holistic well-being strategy and programs tailored to the needs of the Bank’s workforce.
  • Serve as an advisor to the Bank during health outbreaks by staying informed about health challenges and pandemics.
  • Design and implement health response strategies for all staff to safeguard the wellbeing and safety of all staff.
  • Provide first-line support in events of trauma, accidents, and injuries and accurately record all injuries and “near misses” to ensure effective management of all incidents at work. Office Use Only.
  • Promote early detection and effective management of work-related health risks by adhering to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
  • Provide comprehensive support to line managers in managing ill-health cases, including incapacity and absenteeism management.
  • Responsible for the effective facilitation, coordination and administration of various capacity development programs, including the Bank’s scholarship and internship programs.
  • Facilitate employee engagement and culture transformation initiatives to foster a positive and conducive workplace environment.
