Minimum Qualification: Masters Degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with a background in Economics and Statistics

Duties & Responsibilities


The principal accountabilities of this position are to:

  • Design, implement and maintain data management frameworks, standards and procedures for high‑quality economic and financial statistics.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency and compliance with international standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive metadata and documentation in line with international statistical frameworks. 
  • Coordinate data validation, reconciliation and version control across multiple data sources.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and establishment of an integrated digital database and supporting architecture for economic and financial statistics.
  • Support the integration of economic datasets from multiple internal systems and external reporting entities, completeness, consistency, and interoperability across the data warehouse.
  • Collaborate with IT, statisticians, economists and external stakeholders on system implementation and data alignment.  
  • Automate data ingestion, transformation, validation and storage processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Provide technical data support for analysis, forecasting and research.
  • Compile and manage statistical tables, dashboards and analytical outputs.
  • Support data warehousing, business intelligence and analytics platforms across the Bank.
  • Contribute to the implementation, testing and optimisation of statistical systems and tools.
  • Ensure economic data published on the Bank’s website is up-to-date, accurate, user‑friendly, and aligned with the latest technology.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units, Information Technology (IT), statisticians, analysts, and external data providers to support efficient data flows.
  • Support change management activities related to the introduction and adoption of new data systems, standards, and methodologies.
  • Monitor emerging data management trends and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor that are consistent with the role and objectives of the Department.
