Minimum Experience: 6+ Years with At least 6 years relevant working experience, preferably, at least 2 years thereof must be at a supervisory level.
Minimum Qualification: Bachelors Degree in •Minimum Bachelors Degree in law, banking, accounting, auditing or equivalent. • A background in advanced data analytics and investigations will be a distinct advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities
The principal accountabilities of this position are to:
·Provide intelligence and advanced analytics in terms of the cross-border information available, identifying trends, and compiling daily and monthly reports for management and the other stakeholders.
·Monitor various limits including credit card limits, foreign capital and single discretionary allowances, matching and monitoring imported goods as well as export proceeds, processing applications and collating data pertaining to the repatriation of Rand notes, statistical work in terms of debt management, monitoring the macro-prudential limits of institutional investors and ADs, as well as the receipt of audit reports verifying the accuracy of information.
·Apply off-site supervision techniques to ensure that AD/ADLAS have in place robust frameworks for collecting, storing, safeguarding, and the timely and accurate reporting of data, including relevant policies, procedures, and infrastructures needed, in each case proportionate to their risk, size, complexity, and systemic importance.
· Coordinate the drafting of strategies, procedures, performance management systems, and schedules to ensure that the team members effectively discharge their responsibilities as assigned.
·Oversee the investigation of alleged contraventions of the Exchange Control Regulations (including illicit financial flows and Regulation 3 (airport) cases), and surveillance.
·Oversee blocking of bank accounts, forfeiture of money/goods for the benefit of the State, cross-border advance fee fraud scams.
·Oversee the investigations of alleged contraventions with the Virtual Assets Act, 2023, and related prudential rules.
·Oversee enforcement actions in terms of ADLA/AD non-compliance in respect of the Payment Systems Management Act, 2023, and litigation related to matters under investigation.
·Responsible for the overall management of new and existing reporting entities, and support of these peripheral systems e.g., Trade Verification System (TVS) (verifies and authenticates NAMRA’s Customs Declaration forms related to imports and exports).
·Ensure accurate reporting of cross-border transactions through the BOPCUS Reporting System by conducting transaction flow certification of new Reporting Entities and inspections to ensure compliance with reporting rules and BOPCUS’ technical specifications.
·Ensure proper data management and collaboration in executing the information and data management strategy.
