Duties & Responsibilities


The principal accountabilities of this position are to:


• Manage the full lifecycle of IPS products, including account setup, compliance, scalability, participant experience, and continuous improvement.

• Monitor and evaluate product performance, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and participant satisfaction.

• Organize and maintain all relevant documentation, including business, functional, and technical requirements.

• Design new products and improve existing ones by capturing functional and technical requirements to support real-time processing, 24/7 availability, and high performance.

• Develop innovative solutions tailored to meet participant needs and address challenges in the Namibian payment ecosystem.

• Analyze product pricing, setting transaction fees and subscription rates to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

• Plan and execute simulator testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and market acceptance testing to ensure quality and compatibility.

• Assess infrastructure readiness for current and future product loads, ensuring scalability and robustness.

• Leverage real-world scenarios and participant feedback to validate system readiness and alignment with business needs.

• Develop and update scheme rules to govern the operation of the IPS, ensuring alignment with industry and regulatory requirements.

• Monitor compliance with scheme rules, taking corrective actions to address deviations and maintain system integrity.

• Use strategic analytics and data-driven insights to guide long-term decisions and optimize system performance.

• Product release management: Plan, schedule, and manage software releases, ensuring seamless transitions for new participants and system updates.

• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to align product deployment with business timelines and objectives.

• Drive innovation by fostering new ideas and exploring emerging technologies to enhance IPN’s product offerings.

• Develop proof-of-concept models to validate the feasibility and potential of new solutions.

• Conduct global research on disruptive technologies and trends to maintain competitiveness and relevance.

• Work closely with IT and operations teams to ensure products transition efficiently from design and functional specifications to production.

• Provide technical guidance and support to participants during onboarding and certification to ensure compliance and readiness.
