The principal accountabilities of this position are to:

• Plan, install and configure corporate server technology in the physical and virtual environments for the Bank on an annual basis.
• Conduct effective preventative maintenance & health checks by monitoring the IT infrastructure landscape through early warning systems and tools on a quarterly basis.
• Manage the Storage Area Network (SAN) by checking system logs and health checks of the system for the Bank daily.
• Provide system documentation by maintaining and updating the IT operational manual, relevant IT procedures, and set standards for IT Management on an annual basis for easy reference.
• Perform effective data replication, system backups & restoration services by replicating the Bank’s data to the BCM facility and executing the corporate backup procedure daily.
• Implement and enforce applicable security initiatives in line with the IT Security Plan by applying industry best practices and security controls on managed systems on a quarterly basis, in consultation with the IT Security Team.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by Deputy Director: IT Infrastructure, including research of new and innovative technologies, assistance with capacity planning & mitigating technology risks to improve the IT Infrastructure.
